La ruta hasta Santiago de Compostella
Hello all,
¿¿Anybody said that Spain was quite a warm country?? That is not always true, after arriving to Ponferrada to continue my route, I have encountered another snow storm in the magnificient village of O Cebreiro, the entrance of Galicia. It was so bad that the spanish television interviewed me and I am now known all over Spain as being a very brave Canadian!!!
After spending two days in the snow storm, I thought that my problems were over, but no... at the entrance of Triacastella, I have been bitten on the knee by a mad German sheppard. So I had to finish the last 20 kilometers of the day with a bad knee and a growing fear of encountering another mad dog!!! The next day, I have learned that one of my friend from Germany got bitten by the same dog, what a coincidence!
I am walking a lot more on my own and bigger distances (30 to 40 km per day) and I will reach Santiago really soon. It's a very strange feeling to think that I will stop walking, I am getting used to it and I am starting to enjoy my own company!
