News of Pierre from the empire where the sun never sets

Dear friends and family,

Some of you will say that I didn't gave news for quite a while and that's true. I'm sorry for those who e-mailed me and didn't get a reply, I've had very limited internet access for a while. (For those interested, I've put some pictures of the last few months at that address: http://croky6.tripod.com/)

I've been through all kind of different adventures for the last 6 months!!! The first 2 months have been quite difficult because I thought I would find a job more easily, but I've learned a luck through failures and few badlucks. So, I've spent the summer doing a charity fundraising job where I've worked with some extraordinary people and I've make some great friends from england and all over the world (see pictures from Cardiff and Luton). I even became a team leader at the end of the summer!!

That job really took everything out of me, so I took 2 weeks off and went to Madrid (Merci Mireille pour l'hopitalité!!!) and visited Portugal... (there's also pictures of that trip) I had great fun, but unfortunately, I managed to get myself sick in Portugal (I think that we had too much fun in Madrid), it looks like I'm still not learning from my mistakes ;)

So now I'm back in England and I've found a stable office job (you should see me with a suit and a tie... it's really worth it!!!). It's situated at 1h at the south of London in a place called basingstoke (some people call it Boringstoke, but it's not that bad;) ) I work in a very dynamic environment at the international headquarter of a big company (www.delarue.com) and I'm learning a lot!!!

I've seen some old friends since I've arrived here (Stu, Guillaume, Nadine, ...) and I'm always open to meet anybody who comes by the old continent. I get 25 days of vacation a year, I can always take some for friends ;) Next trip to mainland Europe : I'm going to Paris to see my artist friend Nathalie Gauthier next month.

Louis, Antoine, Kenny, Audrey, Stu, Ash & Alex, Lisa, vicky, ... Thank you sooooo much for your hospitality!!! You've all been really great to me!!!

Stu: I think it was your birthday recently, so Happy Birthday ;) It was really nice to see you even if it was for a short time. I'll let you know when I'll be in your area, I'm planning to go and visit york..

Neil: What are you up to?? I play in a national volleyball league and we're probably going to play in your area after christmas, I'll let you know!!

Lisa & Reb : See ya in Manchester soon ;)

I wish you all a great Halloween and a happy pumpkin day!!!

Pierre alias Mr Pierre
